what is RTI?
Established in 2014, Rock The industry is the ultimate commercial dance training, mentorship & artist development for dancers. Created by choreographer & educator LUAM. this program delivers workshops and intensives tailored for aspiring professional and professional dancers looking to build not just an outstanding career, but a balanced and fulfilling life.
There are 3 divisions in RTI:
TRAINING - Consistent dance training
SIGNATURE - Curated experiences by Luam
ACADEMY - Flagship - RTI University, (Rock U) Industry seminars, private coaching.
what programs are AVAILABLE right now?
WEEKLY CLASSES - (training) Luam teaches her Main Character Energy series Tues nights at 6p. She also teaches Mondays 6p as often as she can too.
LUAM RESIDENCY - (signature) Luam’s 2 month dance and artistry development porogram. Open for application! Click HERE.
ROCK U - (academy) SZN 13 weekend session will open later this month. Next session dates in June.

LUAM
Introducing Luam, the renowned choreographer celebrated for her work with top-tier artists like Travis Scott, Janelle Monae, Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, Robin Thicke, and Nike. With a YouTube following exceeding 40 million views and a devoted fan base, Luam has become a global sensation in dance and choreography. As the mastermind behind Rock The Industry, and her podcast Industry Talk, she continually pursues new avenues to elevate the conversations and education in the global dance industry.
Luam marked her directorial debut in 2020 with the acclaimed music video "Hitman" by Kelly Rowland. Her creative influence extends to TV and live stage productions, including her role as Senior Producer for Dancing with the Stars. She also collaborates with the award-winning design and production house Traskhouse as an in-house Creative Director, working for high-profile clients and tours such as Rosalia & Blink 182.
As VP of the Choreographer's Guild, a member of the Creative Council for 'Pencils of Promise,' and a TEDx speaker, Luam actively seeks fresh opportunities to be a catalyst for positive transformation.
In creating Rock The Industry in 2014, Luam's mission is to bring a wealth of industry knowledge, foster meaningful connections, and provide invaluable opportunities for both seasoned professionals and emerging artists.

Rock the Industry has workshops and intensives that are open to all levels. such as Rock U Academy and Dance Workshops.
However Rock U (3 day intensive) is for advanced dancers or dancers ready to build a professional career.
